Teamfight Tactics lead designer Stephen “Mortdog” Mortimer has provided insights into the changes, which are scheduled to go live on Thursday, February 22, around 6 a.m. PST in North America.
Item Changes
- Dragon’s Claw:
- Increased magic resistance from 55 to 65.
- Reduced max HP from 10% to 9%.
- Radiant Adaptive Helm:
- No longer grants both effects; instead, grants 1 bonus based on starting position.
- Fully Adapted augment is the only enabler for granting both effects.
- Front 2 Rows:
- Increased armor and magic resistance bonus from 60 to 80.
- Increased mana gain on getting hit from 1 to 2.
- Back 2 Rows:
- Increased bonus ability power (AP) from 45 to 55.
- Increased mana per 3 seconds from 15 to 20.
Trait Changes:
- Cavalry:
- Increased 7-piece Hecarim attack damage (AD) ratio from 200 to 210.
- Rapidfire:
- Increased attack speed per stack from 4/8/14% to 4/9/16%.
- Uncommon to play more than 2 Rapidfire; buffs to 4 and 6-piece.
- Spellweavers:
- Increased base AP from 20/35/70/120 to 20/35/80/130.
- Increased AP per cast from 1/2/3/4 to 1/2/4/6.
- Similar to Rapidfire; uncommon to play more than 3 or 5 Spellweaver; buffs to 7 and 9-piece.
Champion Changes:
- Lillia:
- Mana pool changed from 70/120 to 60/110.
- Karthus:
- Superfan item changed from Archangel’s Staff to Adaptive Helm.
- Change already live, shipped early in patch 14.3b.
- Poppy:
- Increased attack speed from 0.65 to 0.7.
- Compensation buff for a bug fix to Poppy’s gaining more-than-intended attack speed from bonus attack speed.
