How the Overwatch 2 Mythic Shop Operates
In Overwatch 2, the Mythic Shop is the destination for acquiring both current and past mythic skins. These skins require a currency called Mythic Prisms, which can be earned through the paid version of the seasonal Overwatch 2 Battle Pass. Each Battle Pass provides sufficient Mythic Prisms to fully unlock one mythic skin.
Unlocking Mythic Skins in Overwatch 2
Utilize your Mythic Prisms to unlock the latest mythic skins in Overwatch 2. The total cost for each skin is 80 Mythic Prisms. Alternatively, you can use Mythic Prisms to redeem past mythic skins. For instance, the initial level of the mythic Genji skin costs 50 Mythic Prisms, with subsequent levels requiring 10 Mythic Prisms each.
According to Blizzard, the featured mythic skin of each season is exclusively available during its respective season. Should you miss out on the Mercy mythic skin in Overwatch 2 Season 10, for instance, you’ll need to wait for it to reappear in the Mythic Shop after two additional seasons.
Acquiring Mythic Prisms in Overwatch 2
To obtain Mythic Prisms, you must first acquire the paid version of the seasonal Overwatch 2 Battle Pass, priced at 1,000 Overwatch Coins or approximately $9.99 USD per season. Progress through the Battle Pass to unlock Mythic Prisms available at various tiers.
For example, in Overwatch 2 Season 10, you can acquire eight Mythic Prisms every 10 tiers up to tier 78 of the Battle Pass. This means you can unlock the base level of a mythic skin for 50 Mythic Prisms at tier 48, and subsequently unlock the remaining customization levels after tier 78.

The paid version of each season’s Overwatch 2 Battle Pass, which grants access to Mythic Prisms, is priced at 1,000 Overwatch Coins.
