The 8th anniversary of Pokémon GO will be celebrated from Friday, June 28, 2024, at 10:00 AM local time to Wednesday, July 3, 2024, at 8:00 PM local time.
Featured Pokémon
During this event, two special costumed Pokémon will make their debut: Grimer with a party hat and Muk with a party hat. Both of these Pokémon will have a chance to appear in their shiny forms. Additionally, shiny Meltan can be encountered through the Mystery Box, which can be opened more frequently during the event.
Event Bonuses
- Increased chances of becoming Lucky Friends.
- Higher likelihood of obtaining Lucky Pokémon in trades.
- Friendship levels will increase faster than usual when opening Gifts, trading Pokémon, or battling together in raids, Gyms, or Trainer Battles.
