Cost of a PC to play VALORANT at 1000 FPS
If your PC doesn’t have AMD connections, upgrading your PC may not be cheap. For people to build a PC similar to cjaiye’s, they must invest a lot of money.
For example, the AMD RX 6950XD graphics card that cjaiye uses is originally priced at $1,099. However, it is currently on sale at AMD’s official store and can be had for $699. But not everything is perfect; this graphics card is out of stock in the official AMD store, so people who want to buy it must search in different stores.
Now, in the case of the AMD RYZEN 7 7800X3D, you can buy it for about $499. However, high-end models such as AMD RYZEN 9 7900X3D cost $599, and the AMD RYZEN 9 7950X3D cost $699.
Finally, the last component the player highlights is the MAG B650 Tomahawk WiFi motherboard, which can be purchased for about $220. Now, if you are a gamer who needs to buy every single component to build a PC that allows you to play VALORANT at 1000 FPS, you should invest around $1400+. This cost is without taking into account additional components that are needed to build the new PC.
This is certainly not a budget that many gamers can afford. But don’t worry, to play VALORANT at excellent FPS, there are much cheaper PC options.
