The competitive season of 2023/24 for Dota 2 officially ended with The International 2024, but the calendar year still has several high-profile tournaments left. These upcoming competitions will help teams prepare for the next season and provide early opportunities to secure points and qualifications for major events such as The International and Riyadh Masters in 2025.
Here is a breakdown of the remaining Dota 2 tournaments in 2024:
PGL Wallachia Season 2 | October 4-13, 2024
The new season will kick off with the PGL Wallachia Season 2, a LAN event held in Romania. Like its predecessor, this will be a closed-door LAN tournament without an audience.

- Number of Teams: 16
The first edition of this event saw Xtreme Gaming claim victory over Team Spirit with a 3-2 win in the Grand Final.

While the full team list has not yet been released, it’s likely that the top 4 teams from The International 2024 will receive invitations, continuing the pattern from last season.
BLAST Slam | November 26 – December 1, 2024
BLAST is returning to the Dota 2 scene with its first tournament since early 2024. While most of their tournaments will occur in 2025, this event will be a precursor to their larger plans next year.
- Event Dates: November 26 – December 1, 2024
- Prize Pool and Teams: TBD
Currently, little information is available other than the dates, but the announcement of their return has already sparked excitement.
Elite League Season 3 | November 22 – December 6, 2024
