BLAST’s Growing Presence in Esports

This announcement comes as BLAST continues to expand its esports offerings. The organizer, best known for its work in Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) and Dota 2, has recently moved into games like Fortnite, Rocket League, and TopSpin 2K25. However, this new event marks their debut in mobile esports, a growing segment of the competitive gaming world.

While mobile esports titles like Brawl Stars, Clash of Clans, and Clash Royale may be more niche compared to BLAST’s traditional games like Rainbow Six Siege or Counter-Strike, they have proven to be popular within the mobile gaming community.

Supercell, the developer of these games, has a history of organizing successful esports events, such as the Brawl Stars World Finals, which have been held annually since 2019. The 2024 edition of this tournament will take place in Helsinki, Finland, this November.

With tournaments for Clash of Clans, Clash Royale, and Brawl Stars, BLAST is setting the stage for mobile esports to grow even further, offering competitive players exciting opportunities to shine.
