According to information published by IGN, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 will also be released on PS4 and Xbox One. Doubts about the game’s release for previous generations of consoles arose after the official Xbox page only announced the Xbox Series X|S platform. However, a YouTube video revealed that MW3 would be coming to PlayStation 4 but not to Microsoft’s previous console. After hours of confusion, Redmond later amended the website to include Xbox One as the platform.
Modern Warfare 3 beta to launch on PlayStation first
CoD: Modern Warfare 3 will first offer a beta for customers with a PS4 and PS5, as has become the norm for Activision’s latest games. As in previous releases, the open beta of MW3 will occur days later than on other platforms. The media Insider Gaming, a few months ago, revealed for the first time the dates of the open beta launch, and with everything that has happened so far, it seems that their predictions will be fulfilled. Thus, the beta will begin on October 6, with the first two days with limited access to those who have reserved it. Then, two days later, the beta will be open to everyone.
On the other hand, everything suggests that the Campaign Mode will do the same as Modern Warfare 2. It will be released in Early Access for those pre-ordered the game days before its official release.
