It has recently been announced that Martin “Saksa” Sazdov will be leaving Tundra Esports and saying goodbye to the esports world.

The well-known Dota 2 player of Tundra Esports has informed us that he will take a break from the professional esports scene. Saksa comments that this decision has been taken due to urgent health problems.

Saksa says farewell to Tundra Esports

Martin “Saksa” Sazdov has been a key part of Tundra Esports since the team signed the player. Undoubtedly, replacing this great player, winner of TI11, and filling the void he leaves behind will not be easy. However, Saksa cares for his health and has decided to put his professional esports career on hold. Saksa’s current situation reminds everyone to keep in mind to live a balanced life. It is very important to have good self-care, especially in the esports industry, as players experience great mental and physical stress.

Saksa, the 28-year-old veteran player in the last few competitions, has been absent. This situation has alarmed both his fans and colleagues. Recall that in the middle of the Bali Major, Saksa took a sudden flight home. On that occasion, the player reported that it was due to a health problem but did not disclose any details. Kurtis “Aui_2000” Ling replaced him in the tournament at that time.

Later, Saksa surprised all the fans again when he commented that he would also be out of the upcoming Riyadh Masters competition. Saksa, on his Twitter account, commented that he was facing some mental health issues, so he would not be able to be present at the said tournament. In the same message from Saksa, the player apologizes to all his teammates for being unable to join them.

In the Riyadh Masters competition, again, Aui_2000 was in charge of replacing Saksa. Aui_2000 left his role as coach to take over the position of player.

Tundra Esports Staff Changes

Some Dota 2 sources have commented that the changes in Tundra Esports’ staff will completely change the team’s dynamics. The same sources claim that Topias “Topson” Taavitsainen will join the team as a midfielder, and the current player playing that position in the team, Leon “Nine” Kirilin, is preparing for a position adjustment.

According to attentive fans, Nine has been actively playing at position 4, as his statistics indicate. This sudden change has undoubtedly drawn attention among Dota 2 fans on social media.

Nine’s position change will mean an interesting change in the squad regarding playing. Now, the player must adopt a new gameplay strategy as a support, emphasizing crowd control. In addition, Nine will have to help the team’s main heroes.

On the other hand, it is important to note that the incorporation of Topson is only a rumor. For the moment, Tundra Esports has not confirmed this information.
