After being crowned world champion, Evil Geniuses has revealed its VALORANT reserve list. As of the start of the new VCT season, most players on the team’s reserve roster will be eligible to sign free-agency contracts.
Evil Geniuses unveils its roster of VALORANT reserves
According to information revealed by esports organization Evil Geniuses, most of the VALORANT team’s reserve players were pivotal elements in their most recent victory. However, these players are free now and can sign for any team without restrictions in the upcoming season.
Evil Geniuses has informed that the five reserve players can sign with any team they wish. Importantly, EG has informed us that no termination clause will be due before the start of the 2024 season. EG’s list of free players is as follows:
- Addison “Reformed” Lu
- Brendan “BcJ” Jensen
- Jacob “icy” Lange
- Vincent “Apotheon” Le
- Addison “zecK” Gorzec (coach)
On the other hand, EG has informed that Kyle “ScrewFace” Jensen is still a member of their roster and will remain with the team, exploring different options.
In turn, EG has commented that these five players frequently faced the organization’s starting players and most teams in the VCT Americas. However, this reserve squad was only in a practice process, as they did not have a place to compete in official tournaments. So the team could only help them improve their level by playing among themselves.
The Champs behind the Champs.
Our historical VCT run would not have been possible without the dedication behind the scenes of @ApothVal, @BcJFPS, @ReformedVal, @icyjl and @zecK_VAL. You helped bring NA a World Championship, something that we and our fans will never forget.

Evil Geniuses reserve team
Undoubtedly, the Evil Geniuses reserve team had some very talented players. Reformed, for example, was the player with the longest tenure on the team, even though he was benched after the team received the association to the VCT Americas. Let’s remember that Reformed arrived at EG in January 2022. On the other hand, we have BcJ, one of the most productive additions of the summer. However, he was moved to the reserve team after the team was promoted to Demon1.
For his part, EG stated that the organization was unsure of the format for their reserve team for the upcoming season due to the changes that had taken place in the VCT. In turn, EG commented that all the players on their reserve team deserve the opportunity to shine on another team as the great players they are. On the other hand, it has been reported that several VCT Americas teams are reportedly thinking about reducing players’ financial compensation for next season.
The new modifications for the next VCT season, where the requirement to have a sixth player is eliminated, may cause the ScrewFace player’s uncertain future.
