This Supercell-hosted event also featured the Clash of Clans World Championship and Clash Royale League World Finals, marking a successful debut for SuperFest as a multi-title esports festival.
Record-Breaking Viewership Numbers
According to Esports Charts, this year’s World Finals shattered previous viewership records:
- Peak Viewership: Nearly 1.1 million, a remarkable increase from last year’s peak of 273,194.
- Average Viewership: An impressive 636,059, a major jump from 2023’s average of 164,232.
- Previous Record: The 2022 Finals held the peak viewership record with 395,000, which this event more than doubled.
HMBLE Triumphs Over Fan-Favorites Crazy Raccoon
Italian organization HMBLE emerged victorious, defeating Crazy Raccoon from Japan in the grand final to claim 40% of the $1 million prize pool.
Despite falling short of the championship, Crazy Raccoon garnered immense support, accumulating 3.2 million hours watched, the highest among all teams, with HMBLE and SK Gaming following closely with 2.1 million and 2 million hours watched, respectively.
Global Appeal with High Engagement on Streaming Platforms
The 2024 World Finals saw notable engagement across multiple languages and platforms:
- English Streams attracted the highest viewership with 456,450 peak viewers.
- Spanish Streams followed with a peak of 320,854, while French, Italian, and Russian streams also drew significant viewership.
- Twitch dominated with a peak of 905,330 viewers, while YouTube, TikTok Live, and Kick contributed the remaining audience numbers.
SuperFest’s Success with Other Esports Titles
SuperFest also showcased the Clash Royale League 2024 World Finals, which peaked at 141,777 viewers, ranking it eighth in Clash Royale viewership. Meanwhile, figures for the Clash of Clans World Championship 2024 are yet to be announced.
