It took a while, but Astralis’ new roster has finally been announced. 19-year-old Christian “Buzz” Andersen becomes the newest member of the Danish organisation. That means MistR returns to the academy team Astralis Talent.
After a long search, Astralis has finally found a fifth man for its CS:GO roster. Two months after k0nfig’s departure, Dane Buzz joins the team. The organisation has thus concluded that the experiment with academy player MistR has failed. Therefore, he moves back to Astralis Talent.
Not much is known about the 19-year-old newcomer. He most recently came into the limelight after his final victory in the POWER Ligaen as part of MASONIC. The former Buzz roster knocked Astralis Talent 2-1 in the grand final.

Initial negotiations with MASONIC began back in October. No breakthrough came then, and Astralis switched to talks with Sprout and Heroic. There too, negotiations came to nothing. Thus, Buzz once again found itself in the Danes’ sights.
“I am very happy and really proud,” Buzz said. “I have studied and watched the Astralis team players for years, and that has shaped me as a CS player in many ways. The fact that I can now call myself an Astralis player in a team with several of those players and in the role I always imagined, is just insanely cool.”
It remains to be seen whether the young Dane can repeat his good performance at the top of the CS:GO scene. In any case, it will be a while before we can see this new Astralis in action at a major tournament: the organisation recently missed out on qualifying for IEM Katowice 2023.
