Counter-Strike 2 continues its journey in the competitive scene. Just days after Team Vitality secured the championship title at the ESL Pro League Season 21, the action does not stop. Now, we have another major event, organized by one of the most prestigious tournament producers: BLAST.
The BLAST Open Spring 2025 will take place in Denmark and Portugal, bringing together 16 of the world’s best teams. Over the course of 10 days, they will compete for a prize pool of $400,000.

Tournament Format
This is the first edition of the BLAST Open Spring tournament, but it follows a well-established format:
- The 16 teams are divided into two groups.
- The groups compete in a GSL double-elimination format, with three teams advancing to the Playoffs.
- Group winners move directly to the Semifinals.
- Second-place teams advance to the Quarterfinals.
- The Lower Bracket Final winner also qualifies for the Quarterfinals.
