Recently, the CS:GO fan community has entered into a debate over the best team of all time.

With the imminent arrival of Counter-Strike 2, the fan community is paying tribute to the great CS:GO teams as a form of farewell to the game. HLTV, the largest CS, initiated one such tribute:GO media outlet. At HLTV, they organized a vote where the community decided the best CS:GO team of all time.

After years and years of debate among CS:GO players, HLTV decided to put the matter to rest once and for all. That’s why it conducted a definitive poll. HLTV organized a voting contest to decide which was the best team of all time, aiming to end the discussion in the last days of the Global Offensive era. Nominated by eras and rosters, HLTV launched such a poll, and the CS:GO community chose “The Best Team of All Time.”

Astralis takes the crown as the best CS:GO team of all time

For many fans and players, there was no doubt that Astralis would win the community vote for the best CS:GO team of all time. Astralis was the team that received the most votes. The Astralis era, which ran from 2018 to 2021, is the pinnacle of the CS:GO era. During those four years, the Danish organization won 21 titles in total, including 4 Majors and an Intel Grand Slam.

The winning lineup for the CS:GO GO GOAT team consists of the following players:

The Danish squad beat all rivals after winning 59% of the votes. The team that came closest in the voting was NaVi of 2020 and 2022, which was the team that dominated the scene during the pandemic and in the return to normalcy.

Undoubtedly, the Danish organization is the ultimate winner as it is the organization with the most Majors won, with a total of 4. Astralis, on the other hand, takes another record, as it is the only organization that has managed to win 3 Majors in a row. Undoubtedly, we can say that Astralis will be remembered as the best organization of all time in the CS:GO era.
