After Dyrachyo announced his break from competitive Dota 2, fans speculated about who would replace him in Tundra Esports. The team has been struggling to secure tournament victories in their last two finals, making this roster change crucial for their comeback.

Crystallis Takes the Spot

Rumors had been circulating that Crystallis, an inactive player from Parivision, was the leading candidate to replace Dyrachyo. Now, it’s official: Tundra Esports has confirmed that Crystallis will be their new carry.

The ESL One Bangkok 2024 champion had been on the sidelines since early this year after being replaced by Satanic, the young former carry of Team Spirit. However, Tundra Esports saw the potential in Crystallis and has now welcomed him into their roster.

Crystallis’ First Match with Tundra Esports

There won’t be much time for adaptation. Crystallis is set to debut this weekend in the FISSURE Universe Episode #4 against Talon Esports.

This first match will be crucial for Crystallis, as he has often been a controversial figure in the competitive scene. However, after his victory at ESL One Bangkok, public perception has shifted, and fans now recognize his skill and dedication to the game.

Arteezy Was Also an Option

Crystallis wasn’t the only player considered for the position. Leaks from Arteezy’s stream revealed that he had spoken to Tundra Esports about joining in case things didn’t work out with Crystallis.

Reports suggest that Tundra Esports was open to testing Arteezy if Crystallis didn’t meet expectations. This indicates that the organization is still evaluating its long-term roster strategy.

Tundra Esports’ Complete Roster

With Crystallis now on board, Tundra Esports’ roster is as follows:

  1. Crystallis
  2. Bzm 🇧🇬
  3. 33 🇮🇱
  4. Saksa 🇲🇰
  5. Whitemoon 🇮🇩

Interestingly, there were also rumors that Whitemoon was reluctant to play alongside Crystallis and might leave the team. As of now, no official confirmation has been made regarding this speculation.

Tundra Esports is taking a bold step forward with Crystallis as their new carry. While some fans remain skeptical, his recent performance suggests he could be the key to Tundra’s resurgence in competitive Dota 2.
