In a recent Twitch livestream by Hasan, Vivian Wilson, daughter of Elon Musk, shared surprising details about the billionaire’s life. However, what caught the gaming community’s attention the most was her opinion on her father’s performance in Overwatch.
Elon Musk Struggled to Get Out of Bronze Rank in Overwatch
During the stream, Vivian Wilson revealed that Elon Musk had significant difficulties in Overwatch’s competitive mode. According to her, Musk primarily played Torbjörn, but he could not progress beyond Bronze rank. The situation was so frustrating for the Tesla and SpaceX magnate that he relied on his children to help him improve his ranking.
“When I was 12, he was Bronze in Overwatch, and my twin and I weren’t. He constantly tried to get us to play ranked with him, and I’m 90% sure it was just so we could carry him.” — Vivian Wilson.
Vivian Wilson Had a Higher Rank Than Her Father
Surprisingly, Vivian Wilson and her brother Griffin achieved higher ranks at a very young age. Vivian revealed that her best character was Hanzo, and she reached Silver Rank, proving that she was significantly better at the game than her father.
Even more shocking, Musk’s daughter openly stated that her father was “terrible” at Overwatch.
Elon Musk and His Relationship with Video Games
This is not the first time Musk has been associated with video games. The Tesla and SpaceX CEO has repeatedly expressed his passion for gaming, mentioning titles such as Deus Ex, Bioshock, and The Witcher 3. Additionally, his company Tesla has integrated various games into its in-car entertainment system.
However, it seems that his enthusiasm for video games does not translate into success in the competitive world of Overwatch, as his daughter’s revelations have made abundantly clear.
