Renowned Dota 2 player Zhou “Emo” Yi has made a significant move by joining Bleed Esports for the upcoming PGL Wallachia Season 1 Closed Qualifier in Southeast Asia (SEA).
Emo will be assuming the midlane position, potentially replacing Rafli “Mikoto” Fathur Rahman. While the exact nature of Emo’s involvement with Bleed Esports remains uncertain, the team has yet to issue an official statement regarding this roster adjustment. Emo’s addition to the lineup was only revealed through Liquipedia’s PGL Wallachia page.
Bleed Esports Dota 2 Roster:
- Souliya “JaCkky” Khoomphetsavong
- Zhou “Emo” Yi
- Nicholas “zeal” Lim
- Djardel “DJ” Mampusti
- Wilson “poloson” Koh
Emo’s Southeast Asia Debut
Emo, renowned for his memorable “?” all-chat moments during the Singapore Major 2021, will be making his debut in the Southeast Asian Dota 2 scene.
While Emo hails from China, it’s common for Chinese players to compete in SEA servers due to manageable ping differences. Given that the PGL Wallachia Closed Qualifier is conducted online, Emo will likely participate from the comfort of his home.
Previous Stints and Achievements
Emo previously played for LGD Gaming, albeit for a brief period. His tenure included appearances at ESL One Kuala Lumpur 2023 and DreamLeague Season 22 qualifier, which yielded unsatisfactory results, leading to his benching on January 28. Prior to LGD Gaming,
Emo enjoyed a successful stint with Invictus Gaming (now G2.IG) from 2018 to 2023. During his time with IG, Emo achieved notable successes, including winning the Singapore Major 2023 and securing fourth place at The International 2021 (TI10).

A Chance for Redemption
Having experienced a lull in his performance recently, Emo’s move to Bleed Esports presents an opportunity for him to reclaim his former glory. With the potential to recreate his iconic “?” moments and recapture his prime form, Emo’s fans eagerly anticipate his debut with Bleed Esports at the PGL Wallachia Season 1 Closed Qualifier.
