With the discontinuation of the Dota Pro Circuit (DPC) in 2024, the competitive Dota 2 scene faced uncertainty. However, Electronic Sports Broadcasting (ESB), a prominent Peruvian tournament organizer, has risen to the occasion with the announcement of Liga 2024, featuring a total prize pool of $2 million USD.
Liga 2024: ESB’s Ambitious Dota 2 Tournaments
Liga 2024, planned by ESB, is set to feature three significant tournaments spread across the year, with an impressive prize distribution:
- First Tour (April Tour): Scheduled for 3rd – 14th April, with a prize pool of $500,000.

ESB’s Commitment to Dota 2 Esports

The Global Impact of Liga 2024
ESB’s Liga 2024 is not only significant for South America but for the global Dota 2 scene. It promises to bring together top teams worldwide and introduce new formats, enhancing the competitive spirit and diversity of the game.
Other Major Tournament Organizers in 2024
Alongside ESB, ESL and BetBoom are also making substantial moves in the Dota 2 esports arena. ESL’s continuation with the ESL Pro Tour and BetBoom’s announcement of two $1 million events show a vibrant and competitive future for Dota 2 tournaments in 2024.
Therefore, we are thrilled to announce that this year, we will host a league with a $2,000,000 prize pool, distributed across three tournaments, where we'll have the opportunity to feature the world's top teams and introduce innovative formats never seen before.
