It has recently been announced that esports organization FaZe Clan has fired its VALORANT Game Changers team after six months of their signing.
FaZe Clan fires its VALORANT Game Changers team
On March 7 of this year, FaZe Clan announced the signing of a group of girls to represent the organization in the VALORANT Game Changers. Only six months after this team was formed, the organization has now released this team. At this time, all of the team’s members have become free agents. The team consisted of the following players:
- Diane “di” Tran
- Jenifer “refinnej” Le
- Madison “Maddie” Mann
- Vannesa “panini” Emory
- Emma “sHMeaty” Choe
This squad consisted of rookie players new to VALORANT esports and veteran CS:GO players.

FaZe Clan’s VALORANT Game Changers team history
The VALORANT Game Changers FaZe Clan team did not win any trophy during the six months they played wearing the organization’s jersey. However, it is important to note that this team managed to qualify for the Game Changers Series 1 and Series 2 championships. Unfortunately, the team was eliminated in the first phase of Series 1, and in Series 2, they were eliminated in the tournament’s second phase.
Now, this group of girls has been left without a team. However, some squad members have decided to stay together and fight in the tournament under the name “no roof” Game Changers Series 3. It is important to note that this tournament starts in just over two weeks.
FaZe seems to say goodbye to VALORANT esports
FaZe Clan is apparently saying goodbye to VALORANT esports. Currently, the organization does not have any professional players for this game. It is important to note that the organization has not officially announced the departure of VALORANT.
Let’s recall that FaZe Clan’s first move was to dismiss its entire male staff from VALORANT last July 24. This decision of the team was taken about a month after the team was ranked 5-6 in the North American Challengers playoffs. As a consequence, the team was excluded from the Americas Ascension tournament. Now, FaZe Clan has released the news that they have also dismissed their VALORANT team from Game Changers.
It is important to note that FaZe Clan is not the only organization with a spot in the NA Challenger League with no team. Let’s remember that TSM also disbanded their team right after the tournament ended, and so far, they have not signed any players.
On the other hand, it is important to mention that FaZe Clan is apparently not going through its best moment. Let’s remember that last September 10, the organization lost its CEO. In addition, the organization could be delisted from the NASDAQ.
