LoL 13.22 Update: Janna’s Wind Shifts Once More

LoL 13.22 Update: Janna’s Wind Shifts Once More

30. October 2023 by Valentin Pasetti

The Storm’s Fury, renowned in the League of Legends realm, is set for another transformation. While she soared as a passive support in patch 13.21, indications from the PBE for 13.22 suggest her mobility might soon hinge upon her basic attacks and her W, Céfiro.

Return to Classic Playstyle

It’s a nostalgic trip back to Janna’s roots. Janna, hand in hand with Taric, held her ground as the supreme support queen in the recent 13.21 LoL patch. Yet, whispers from the 13.22 PBE updates hint at a reversion. The aim? To shed some gains she relished from the 12.2 update, thus channelling her towards her timeless gameplay.

This freshly unveiled tweak on the testing server is in the balancing phase, hence Riot Games holds the reigns, deciding on its final release.

Janna’s Altered Dynamics: PBE 13.22 Highlights

Final Observations

These modifications seem to be steering Janna away from her prime form seen in the 12.2 LoL update. The aim is to nestle her back into a passive support niche. However, with her passive’s potential for magic damage exploitation, she could very well pivot to an aggressive gameplay style.
