The event kicked off with the Indie World presentation, which certainly did not play second fiddle. Several major announcements were made, setting the stage for what’s to come in 2025. Among the highlights:

  • Morsels: This quirky and hard-to-define game made waves with its unique art style and gameplay, drawing significant attention.
  • Pizza Tower for Switch: The long-awaited port of the cult favorite game was finally announced, much to the delight of its fanbase.

However, the most anticipated reveal was undoubtedly the release date for Neva, the next game from the creators of GRIS. The stunning new title from Barcelona-based Nómada Studio is set to launch on October 15, 2024.

The game is expected to explore themes of caregiving and the eventual role reversal between caregivers and those they care for, continuing the studio’s tradition of emotionally resonant storytelling.
