Nintendo is bringing back the iconic Nintendo World Championship, this time to the Nintendo Switch. The Nintendo World Championship: NES Edition resurrects the excitement of the original ’90s championships and offers players the chance to take on over 150 challenges inspired by 13 classic NES games.
Reliving Classic Moments
Players can dive into challenges that recreate historic moments from beloved titles like Super Mario, The Legend of Zelda, Donkey Kong, and Metroid. From speedrunning through Mario’s first level to battling enemies in Kirby’s Adventure, each mini-challenge is designed to test skill and quick reflexes—a true test for speedrunners.
