While the Dota 2 competitive scene may not be as dominant as Counter-Strike 2 or League of Legends, it remains one of the most iconic esports in the world. The MOBA continues to have a strong and passionate global fanbase, and that is something PGL is clearly betting on.
That’s why it’s no surprise that PGL, one of the biggest esports tournament organizers worldwide, has announced it will continue organizing Dota 2 tournaments all the way through 2028.
13 Dota 2 tournaments confirmed by PGL
Through an official blog post, PGL confirmed that it will host a total of 13 Dota 2 tournaments between late 2025 and 2028. Each tournament will feature a $1,000,000 prize pool, reaffirming PGL’s serious commitment to the game.

Tournament names and locations still unconfirmed
