Pokémon GO continues to thrill its players with an exciting new event this week: the Capture Target Event. This special event spotlights three distinguished Ice-type Pokémon: Snorunt, Bergmite, and Cryogonal, offering Pokémon trainers a cool adventure with multiple bonuses.
Event Schedule
The Capture Target: Ice Event in Pokémon GO kicks off on Saturday, December 9, 2023, at 10:00 AM local time and will wrap up on the same day at 8:00 PM local time.
Event Bonuses
- Increased chances to encounter Shiny versions of Snorunt, Cryogonal, and Bergmite.
- Double XP for successful Pokémon catches with good, great, and excellent throws.

Field Research Encounters
Completing field research tasks during this event will offer encounters with:

Paid Timed Research
Trainers have the option to purchase an additional Timed Research for $2 USD (or equivalent local currency). This paid research mirrors the free Timed Research, offering an additional 40 encounters with Cryogonal.
