Rocket League Introduces New Match History and Player Profile Features

24. October 2024 by Valentin Pasetti

With the launch of patch v2.45, Rocket League introduces two significant features that will reshape how players track and manage their in-game performance: the match history and player profiles.

These additions aim to provide a more detailed and organized way for users to analyze recent matches and access personal stats across their entire career in the game.

Match History: Track Your Last 20 Matches

One of the most exciting updates is the introduction of a built-in match history feature. Players can now view a detailed summary of their last 20 matches played within the past 30 days. Accessible through the in-game profile page, this feature offers essential information to help players evaluate their recent performance. Here’s what you can expect from the match history:

  • Match Outcome: Shows whether the player won or lost, including victories or defeats due to forfeits.
  • Final Score: The match score will always display the player’s team score first for easy identification.
  • Match Type: Indicates whether the match was competitive, casual, private, or part of a tournament.
  • Game Mode: Specifies the mode (e.g., 1v1, 2v2, 3v3) in which the match took place.
  • Arena: Lists the arena where the match was played.
  • Match Duration: Provides the total match time, including any overtime.
  • Individual Stats: Breaks down goals, assists, saves, shots, and the personal score for each match, along with whether the player earned MVP status.

This information offers players a clear view of their recent performance, and they can even save and name replays for future analysis.

Player Profiles: Access Your Career Stats Online

Alongside the in-game match history, Rocket League has also introduced player profiles that can be accessed via the official website starting from October 22. By logging in to rocketleague.com, players can now check their stats from their entire career, as well as their stats for the latest seasons. The player profiles include detailed data such as:

  • Career Stats: Displays total goals, assists, saves, shots, wins, and other key stats accumulated throughout the player’s Rocket League journey.
  • Season Stats: Offers a summary of both the current and previous seasons, allowing for a performance comparison.
  • XP and Rocket Pass Progress: Shows the player’s current XP level and progress through the Rocket Pass.
  • Linked Accounts: Players can link their accounts from various platforms (PlayStation, Xbox, Steam, and Nintendo Switch), unifying their stats in one place.

These new features will make it easier for players to access their stats and track their performance, a highly requested addition from the Rocket League community. Whether you’re a casual player or a competitive one, this update will give you the tools you need to improve your gameplay and strategy.

A Competitive and Casual Experience

The v2.45 patch marks a major step for Rocket League players of all levels who want a more streamlined way to assess their progress. The availability of both recent and historical data, accessible in-game or online, will help players better evaluate their strengths and weaknesses.

With this update, Rocket League continues to strengthen its competitive structure while offering casual players more resources to track and enhance their performance in every match.
