The Teamfight Tactics (TFT) Patch 14.16 is the first update for Set 12 “Magic n’ Mayhem,” introducing a range of balance adjustments and system changes. This patch focuses on champion and trait adjustments, system tweaks, and augment modifications, with notable nerfs to Syndra and Kassadin.

System Changes

  • Golems:
    • Attack Damage: Reduced to 55
    • Health: Reduced to 550
    • Ability Damage: Nerfed from 335/500/750 to 300/480/750
  • Hyper Roll Mode:
    • Dummies and Golems now level up one Stage later.
    • “I’m the Carry Now” augment stats adjusted for later power-up.
    • Frost Soldier bonus health scaling reduced from 200 to 110 per Stage.
    • Several Augments (All That Shimmers, All That Shimmers Plus, A Golden Quest, and Upgraded Adventure) will no longer appear.

  • Bastion:
    • Armor and Magic Resistance adjusted from 15/40/65/110 to 15/40/70/120
  • Blaster:
    • Damage Amplification increased from 8/15/30 to 12/25/45 percent
    • Burst Damage Amplification adjusted from 25/45/90 to 25/50/90 percent
  • Chrono:
    • Chrono Time Stop now affected by crowd control immunity
  • Faerie:
    • Damage Amplification from Queen’s Crown adjusted from 25/35/40/70 to 25/40/45/75 percent
    • Armor Healing and Shielding increased from 30 to 35 percent
    • Armor Health increased from 100 to 150
    • Armor Healing from Queen damage increased from 12 to 15 percent
  • Frost:
    • Ability Power and Attack Damage increased from 15/30/45/75 to 16/35/50/80
  • Preserver:
    • Heal nerfed from 2.5/4.5/7/10 to 2/4/6/9 percent
    • Mana Restored adjusted from 3/5/8/12 to 3/5/7/11 percent
    • The Preserver trait now ticks while a unit is mana-locked and grants mana after the mana lock ends
  • Scholar:
    • Bonus Mana on Attack adjusted from 3/5/10 to 3/6/12 per attack
  • Warrior:
    • Omnivamp buffed from 10/18/25 to 10/20/30 percent
    • Bonus Damage increased slightly to 10/20/30 percent

  • One-Cost Units:
    • Jayce: Slight spell damage buff to 425/425/475 AD percent plus 40/60/90 percent AP
    • Lillia: Mana changed to 40/100
    • Seraphine: Mana changed to 10/60
    • Soraka: Star Damage increased to 195/290/440 percent
    • Warwick: Attack Damage Ability Damage buffed from 50 to 55/55/65 percent
  • Two-Cost Units:
    • Ahri: Orb damage slightly increased to 140/210/325; returning true damage buffed to 100/150/230

    • Katarina: Spinning Damage increased to 175/260/420 percent
    • Wukong: Shield buffed to 380/460/550 percent
  • Four-Cost Units:
    • Karma: Healing of Allies removed

  • At What Cost (Prismatic): Bonus XP reduced from 16 to 8
  • Avenge the Fallen (Gold): Team stats increased to 18 percent Attack Damage, 18 Ability Power, and 18 Magic Resistance
  • Bastion Crown (Prismatic): Champion changed from Nunu to Shen
  • Beggars Can Be Choosers (Silver): Gold increased from 4 to 7
  • Blaster Crown (Prismatic): Champion changed from Tristana to Ezreal
  • Blossoming Lotus One and Two: No longer offered at Stage 2-1
  • Built Different Two (Gold): Now exclusive with Two Tanky
  • Caramelized Comforts (Gold): Health increased to 60 and gold drop chance increased to 10 percent
  • Clockwork Accelerator (Gold): Attack Speed reduced from 4 to 3 seconds
  • Dark Alley Dealings (Prismatic): Player Combats reduced from 5 to 3
  • Draconic Mastery (Gold): Removed
  • Endless Hunt (Gold): Rework—Hunter units execute enemies below 12 percent health and gain 10 percent Attack Speed. Now called Hunting Frenzy.
  • Eternal Growth Plus (Gold): Health gained reduced from 100 to 60
  • Explosive Growth Plus (Gold): XP increased from 10 to 11
  • Fast Forward (Gold): Attack Speed increased from 25 to 40 percent. No longer offered at Stage 2-1.
  • Find Your Center (Silver): Maximum Health gained increased from 10 to 15 percent
  • Flexible (Gold): Emblem gained at the start of the next three Stages instead of every Stage

Charm Changes

  • New Charms:
    • Copycat (New): Costs 1 Gold, offered at Stage 2-3—Gain a one-star copy of the first enemy unit to die next in combat.
    • Ironclad Spirit (New): Costs 1 Gold, offered at Stage 4-plus—During your next combat, your team gains 30 Armor.
    • Mystic Spirit (New): Costs 1 Gold, offered at Stage 4-plus—During your next combat, your team gains 30 Magic Resistance.
    • Spawn Swarm (New): Costs 4 Gold, offered at Stage 5-plus—During the next combat, your first two front row units spawn a Voidling after death.
  • Removed Charms:
    • Desperate Plea
    • Gear Swap
  • Nerfed Charms:
    • Backrow Star: Cost reduced from 5 to 2 Gold
    • Enhance: Cost reduced from 2 to 1 Gold
  • Buffed Charms:
    • Minor Gambit: Gold for winning increased from 2 to 3
    • Phantom Emblem: Cost reduced from 8 to 6 Gold
    • Shivinate: Stages offered changed from 3/4 to 2/3
    • Summon Dragon: Attack Damage reduced from 450 to 405
    • Tinker: Cost reduced to 0 Gold and offered through the entire duration of the game
