Teamfight Tactics (TFT) continues its journey toward balance and optimization with the release of patch 14.3b. Lead designer Stephen “Mortdog” Mortimer introduces minor adjustments aimed at enhancing the player experience and preparing for upcoming tournaments worldwide. Let’s delve into the key changes introduced in this latest update.
Patch 14.3b Trait Nerfs
Heartsteel: The Heart Multiplier for 5-piece Heartsteel has been reduced from 1/2.25/5.5/18x to 1/2/5.5/18x, aiming to fine-tune the effectiveness of this trait in combat scenarios.
Patch 14.3b Champion Nerfs
Kayle: The ability on-hit damage of Kayle has been adjusted from 35/55/80% Ability Power (AP) to 35/52/75% AP, offering a slight reduction in her scaling potential.
Riven: Riven’s ability damage has been decreased from 90% Attack Damage (AD) to 85% AD, bringing her damage output more in line with other champions.
Zed: Zed’s Attack Damage has been reduced from 75 to 72, aiming to balance his overall power level in combat situations.
Augment Changes
Two augments, Extended Play and Heartthrobs, have been disabled to address balance concerns and ensure a more streamlined gameplay experience.
Bug Fixes
Scrappy Inventions: This augment now functions as intended, granting components at the start of the next two stages, eliminating previous inconsistencies in its activation.
Guinsoo’s Rageblade: Stacks of Guinsoo’s Rageblade will no longer occasionally reset when a summon occurs in combat, resolving an issue related to Yorick ghouls and other summoning effects.
Patch 14.3B should now be live on all realms.
Extended Play was overperforming, despite having some bugs with it and created a situation we weren't happy with with Punk Emblem, so it has been disabled.
