Preliminary Tournaments
- VCT 2024 kicks off with preliminary tournaments hosted by each international league.
- VCT Americas: Starts on February 16
- VCT Pacific: Begins on February 17
- VCT EMEA: Commences on February 20
- VCT China: Initiates on February 22
- Winners of these events qualify for the Masters in Madrid.
VCT Masters Madrid
- VCT Masters Madrid: The first international tournament of the season, held from March 8 to 24.
- Venue: Madrid Arena, Spain.
- New Format: Starts with a Swiss stage and concludes with a double-elimination group.
2024 Season Structure
Faria acknowledges the current calendar’s intensity from February to August, with a lull in the later months. However, Riot Games is not planning to increase the number of tournaments. Instead, they aim to start the 2025 season earlier, ensuring consistent action throughout the year.
VCT Team Packages
For the 2024 season, fans can anticipate the release of VCT Team Packages. These feature weapon designs and brand items from participating organizations, allowing fans to express their support in style. These packages will be available from the start of the inaugural tournament and throughout the competitive year.
