Hunter “SicK” Mims is a professional Sentinels player who is currently inactive. According to information published by StreamerBans, Twitch has banned SicK for the first time since they started tracking him in 2019.
VALORANT pro gamer SicK banned from Twitch
Right now, it is only known that SicK has been banned from the streaming platform; however, the reasons for the ban and the length of time he is banned have not been revealed.
But the evidence in some of his broadcasts made in May suggests that he may have been banned for advertising hateful behavior. It is important to note that Twitch’s policies are very strict and against such behavior.
Some viewers have likely reported his misconduct in the broadcasts. For their part, some people have taken screenshots where the VALORANT player makes racial slurs as evidence of his hateful behavior.

Twitch Rules
Twitch’s Hateful Conduct section specifies that the platform has the clear objective of providing a safe place where any person can live pleasant social experiences.
Twitch is, therefore, intolerant of hateful behavior, as well as disapproves of any act that encourages or promotes harassment, discrimination, violence, or denigration based on any of these particularities:
“Race, ethnicity, color, caste, national origin, immigration status, religion, sex, gender, gender identity, or sexual orientation.”
So it is very likely that the Sentinels player was banned for not complying with Twitch’s hateful conduct rules.
SicK’s conduct
For a couple of months, the player has shown unstable behavior both in his broadcasts and on social networks. Remember that the player was arrested in March for breaking and entering; however, his team supported him unconditionally and paid his bail and a rehabilitation program.
However, on May 8, the professional player was arrested again for the same offense of breaking. Fortunately for SicK, he was released the day after his arrest.
At the moment, it is unknown what consequences the player will experience in his team due to the second arrest. However, remember that after the first arrest, the team suspended the player, and he had to complete training.
On the other hand, it is important to note that the causes of SicK’s ban on Twitch will only be known if the player makes the details public; since the platform never reveals the reasons for his bans. Nevertheless, this ban on Twitch will likely not be so radical, given that it is the first in many years.
