The VALORANT off-season is busy; many teams are making the best signings for the 2024 season. Team Vitality has signed one of the best Duelists in the world to their VALORANT roster.

Renewal of Team Vitality’s roster for the 2024 season

Team Vitality’s VALORANT squad had a difficult and tragic 2023 year. However, they are preparing for the next season. Currently, Team Vitality has made a revamp to their roster for the 2024 VCT season. One of the most important changes in this team is the signing of one of the most important duelists in the VALORANT competitive scene. Team Vitality’s new Duelist is Saif “Sayf” Jibraeel. This player previously represented the Team Liquid jersey. However, he only did so for one season.

Finally, Team Vitality’s roster is complete after the addition of Sayf. Remember that the organization recently signed Kimmie “Kicks” Laasner and Emil “runneR” Trajkovski during this off-season. These three players arrive to reinforce the other two players from the previous year, Tomas “Destrian” Linikas and Jokbas “ceNder” Labutis. On the other hand, it has been reported that Team Vitality’s VALORANT squad will continue to be supervised by Salah Barakat for the upcoming season.

Sayf’s signing to Team Vitality

Yesterday, September 29th, Team Vitality announced on their social networks, informing the whole community about the signing of Sayf. According to the Global Contract Database information, Sayf has signed a two-year contract with this organization. It is important to note that Sayf and Kicks are the only players under contract until 2024. The rest of the squad is under contract until 2024.

Now, Sayf comes to Team Vitality to help the team from one of the worst seasons it has had for VALORANT esports. Recall that Team Vitality last season failed to advance to the EMEA playoffs to the Champions or the Masters. In addition, the organization suffered a terrible and abrupt loss with the sudden death of young player Karel “Twisten” Aenbrener. The passing of the 19-year-old player last June completely shook Team Vitality and the VALORANT community. After this terrible situation, Team Vitality’s management and the players of its VALORANT squad decided to leave the LCQ and end the season early.

However, the signing of Sayf should be considered a big step by the organization that wants to recover for next season. Recall that Sayf was considered one of the best players in the league during last season’s EMEA VCT. Sayf finished second in the league’s overall ACS and K/D player rankings. In addition, Sayf was also among the top players with the first kills per round. This is a great signing for Team Vitality.
