VALORANT’s top-earning teams to date

25. June 2023 by madara s

VALORANT recently celebrated its third anniversary since its introduction, and to celebrate, today we bring you a list of the best teams. This time, we’ll review the teams that have won the most prizes.

Fnatic

Winnings: $565,007

The mythical orange team is among the fastest-rising teams, especially in 2023. Despite having major gaming issues in 2022 and competing in multiple international tournaments, the changes have worked out quite well for them, so much so that they are the reigning champion of the Rio de Janeiro VCT Lock/IN or one of the participants in the Tokyo Masters finals.

To date, they have won the 1st VCT LOCK/IN and took home $100K; the 2nd VCT Masters Reykjavic won $100K or the 2nd VCT EMEA League $65K, with Derke and Boaster leading the way.

G2 Esports

Winnings: $570,396

This squad on this list is not currently among the top VALORANT teams. The former Ocelot-led squad no longer competes in Europe and plays in the second division in North America. However, they have signed a guaranteed team with players like ShahZaM, dapper and wippie. Now they must work their way up to the North American franchise league.

Although the era of dominance of mixwell, Avova and nukkye is long gone, this core of players managed to finish third at the VCT Masters Berlin, where they won $85k, 5-6 at the VCT Masters Reykjavik $40K, or second at the VCT EMEA Stage 1 Challengers $33k. They were also a major powerhouse in the early years of VALORANT.

Sentinels

Earnings: $576,500

The days when Sentinels made its world debut by winning the first trophy in VALORANT’s history are long gone. The club’s heyday was reached with players like TenZ or ShahZaM still present. The club is trying to recapture its previous successes with the recent addition of two world champions Sacy and pANcada.

For the first Reykjavik Masters, the team won $200K, the VCT NA Stage 1 Challengers $60K, and the VCT Stage 3 Challengers $40K.

Team Liquid

Winnings: $602,969

The horse team, at least in terms of regularity in regional and international competitions, is the best European representative we have had to date. The departure of players such as Scream or Nivera significantly altered the quintet, but others such as nAts or Redgar have joined the team since then.

Although their record includes no international competition, they have participated in many. Their best places have been first in the VCT EMEA, winning $100K, 3-4 in the World 2021, $90K, or fourth in the VCT Masters Reykjavik $60K.

LOUD

Winnings: $634,953

As was the case for a while in Counter-Strike, we can say that currently, the most dominant team is LOUD, although Fnatic is lurking. The Brazilian team is the reigning world champion, runner-up of the VCT Lock/in Rio de Janeiro, the most important tournament to date, and the VCT Americas League champion. As if that wasn’t enough, they have two of the best players in VALORANT today, aspas and saadhak.
